About Angela

Angela-Marie Lampton

Angela-Marie Lampton is the proud owner of SunFire Entertainment, a radio promotion, artist development and music marketing company. Through out her ten-plus years in business she has helped build multiple successful artists and bands both on the regional and national level.  From coast to coast, but especially in Texas and surrounding states, her artists are regularly heard on stations like Austin’s KOKE to Ft Worth’s KFWR.

Her radio promotion efforts have secured her clients 103 top 10 singles and numerous #1 singlesMost notably, Angela has worked Granger Smith’s “Silverado Bench Seat,”  Eli Young Band’s “Crazy Girl,” William Clark Green’s “She Likes The Beatles,”  Kevin Fowler’s “Pound Sign (#?*!)” and “Hell Yeah, I Like Beer,” Josh Abbott Band’s, “She’s Like Texas,” “Oh Tonight,”  and Jack Ingram’s single, “Barefoot and Crazy.”  Impressively, Ingram’s single “Barefoot and Crazy” spent a record 12 weeks at #1 on the Texas Music Chart before being officially retired on August 17th, 2009. He’s only the third artist to have a song retired from the number 1 position. In 2014, SFE artist Sunny Sweeney’s single “Bad Girl Phase” reached the top spot on both charts and also marked the first time a female had a song at #1 at the Texas Music Chart in over 11 years.

Because of her personal, hands-on approach and carefully crafted strategy, Angela has maintained long-standing relationships with many clients.  These major label and independent artists include William Clark Green, Josh Abbott Band, and Granger Smith with whom she has proudly worked beside for nearly 9 years. During her time with Granger she has promoted all 16 of his single releases to radio with 14 of those going top 10 at the Texas charts. Now signed to Broken Bow Music Group, Angela continues to play an integral role on Granger’s team by helming radio promotion efforts at both Texas and secondary radio.

A Kansas City, Missouri native, Angela’s first stint in the music business was at her hometown’s popular country station, KBEQ Young Country Q104. Angela holds a BBA in Music Business from Belmont University’s Mike Curb College of Music Business and Entertainment.  With sixteen years in the music business and a vast background in radio and publicity, Lampton continues to help grow artists’ careers with her innovative, resourceful, 90 mile-an-hour manner and commitment.
